My Story

Kathleen Donaldson

Kathleen Donaldson is the co-author of the Calm and Connected Toolkit (CCT). She is a mental health educator, professional speaker, trauma informed care trainer, certified wellness coach, and is currently pursuing her Graduate Certificate in Organizational Psychology at Harvard Extension School. Kathleen created the Trusted Adult Program to weave webs of trusted adult support amidst our current mental health crisis. Using a 2-generation approach to mental health and wellbeing the program provides youth and adults with crucial skills, practices, worksheets, and perspectives. Kathleen has a background in counseling, mental health education, a BS in psychology from Portland State University, and an AA degree in criminal and social justice.

Our mission is focused on on building community resilience,  through intergenerational partnership,  education, and implementation. Together, we can create a path towards a stronger, and healthier community.

Our vision is to create a culture of wellbeing for our youth and adults. A culture of empathy, acceptance, hope, and safety. A culture where everyone feels seen, heard, understood, and valued.

Our values are safety, reliability, empowerment, collaboration, and growth.
